A. Much less than a price reduction. Staging fees will vary for each project.
The cost will depend on how much inventory you need, how large the home is and how much needs to be done. Star Staging will
always come out and do a free estimate so you know exactly what it will cost and exactly what you are paying for. Star Staging
prides itself on working with the client, so if you have a certain budget they will do their best to work within it.
My house looks so good after staging - should I raise my price?
A. Absolutely not. It is important to price your home according to what your Realtor recommends based on comps in your
area. Staging is the icing on the cake that sets your house apart from the others in your price range. Your house will look
so much better than comparably priced homes that buyers will feel it is a much greater value and often times will offer above
asking.
Why do I have to remove my personal photos?
A. The goal of staging is to help the buyer to visualize living in the home. If there are personal photos on the walls
it feels like they are in someone else's home and it is harder for them to picture themselves living there.
Do I have to have expensive furniture for staging to work?
A. Not at all. Staging is not decorating. Staging is about putting the emphasis on the house - not the stuff. Staging
creates a warm welcoming feeling and draws attention to the home's features. Although the furniture needs to look clean and
new, it does not have to be expensive.
